The family-run leisure park near us on the Schauinsland has been our partner for many years. Just a few minutes’ drive from the Notschrei ski lifts, the park is located between Oberried and Hofsgrund, nestled in the mountain landscape of the High Black Forest.

Numerous rides for young and old are waiting to be discovered: from a fast-paced ride on one of the summer toboggan runs to a relaxing trip on the cable car and carousel rides designed especially for children. In summer, a ride on the “River Splash,” a spectacular water ride, is especially worthwhile. And if it happens to rain, there are various indoor attractions such as the “Gletscherblitz,” the “Spacerunner,” or adventure playgrounds for children.

Between the attractions, a wide variety of mountain-dwelling animals have a spacious home. Ever seen lynx, chamois, or marmots up close? At Steinwasen Park, you can. Many of the animals can even be fed.
